Started career at Merrill Lynch in 2000 as an investment banker. Led global offerings and M&A
such as Dentsu IPO, $2.5B fundraising for Sony and forming Sompo Japan. After joined GaiaX,
an internet startup in social media area in 2006, as CFO and International Biz Dev., rebuilt the
company by M&A and recapitalisation including self-TOB and deployed its business in SEA area
such as Singapore and Philippines. In 2012, co-founded Tokyo Otaku Mode, world largest Otaku
(comics, anime, games) community and E-Commerce platform with over 17M fans on its
Facebook page. Won Japan Startup Award 2013. 500 Startups at Silicon Valley, batch 4.
